- About Shelley -
It might sound dull to a lot of people, but I really think tobacco issues are fascinating. So much has changed around smoking that it's hard to believe how it used to be. Are you old enough to remember kids buying cigarettes for their parents? Smoking in hospitals? Airplanes? Smoking was commonplace when I was growing up, but I've found that my views of it have changed just as society's has. I am now the director for the BC Ministry of Health’s Tobacco Control Program. I hear a lot about the changes people want around tobacco and how tobacco use affects their goals for healthy living.
