Have you ever found a puddle of mysterious green goo at the back of the fridge? I’m not sure I should admit it, but I recently bought a bunch of spinach and completely forgot about it until it became a puddle. And, I really hate to waste food, especially with winter prices for vegetables and fruit. Here are some ideas to store vegetables and fruit to keep them fresh.

I recently wrote an article on how older adults are keeping active more than ever (and even breaking fitness records!). If you’re a grandparent, you are in a unique position to be active with your family; especially with grandchildren. It’s common for both parents to work fulltime, so grandparents often play a big role in helping raise and mentor kids. What does this mean for physical activity levels of grandparents and grandchildren? In my opinion, it’s a fantastic thing!

Physical Activity Advice for New Moms

As a new parent, your world may seem to revolve around caring for your baby, but taking time for physical activity is an important way to care for yourself too. Remember that by taking care of yourself, you are also taking care of your baby.

After a normal vaginal birth, most physical activities can be started again as soon as you are comfortable. Start slowly, and then gradually build up the length of physical activity.
