June 21st is the longest day of the year and there’s no better way to celebrate it than getting outside and bringing back play! As a youngster, I used to love when the days lengthened because it also allowed our ball hockey, soccer, tennis, golf, and baseball games to keep going!
Looking back on my past, I’m forever grateful to my parents and friends for providing me with opportunities to get outside and engage in fun games and sports. I believe those childhood experiences helped me become the man I am today and enhanced my abilities to integrate activity into my daily life. This being said, we all have it in us to be a significant and positive influence on others so make a difference by getting outside with a ball, racquet, stick, kite, or sidewalk chalk and play until the lights go out!
