We’ve passed winter solstice and the start of the new year. Now I’m looking forward to longer days!

Can exercise help before surgery?

Fitness goes a long way; people who are active typically live longer, have better quality of life and do not get sick (i.e., get a cold) or develop chronic health conditions as often as those who are inactive. However, no matter how active you are, you may need surgery at some point in life and then rehab to get back to a normal routine afterwards.
