 Poppy Seed Muffins for Remembrance Day

Every year on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month we acknowledge Remembrance Day by wearing a poppy close to our heart and taking a minute of silence. On this day, we pay tribute to veterans who fought to protect the freedom of our country. We honour these men and women for their courage, service, and sacrifice. The memorial flower we wear represents the poppies that grew over Flanders Field after the First World War.
