Setting A Goal

I have been focusing my training on preparing for the half marathon in October - Its coming up fast now!

Having a goal to train towards is very helpful but it doesn't need to be for a long distance run.

Just Peachy

You know you have a good peach when you bite into it and wish you were outside so that you didn’t have to worry about the juice running down your arm.

It’s hard to believe that there can be this much WOW in a little ball of fruit. If only I could have a little taste of this all year round. Fresh in season peaches (or any fruit for that matter) can’t be beat, but canned ones, especially in the winter are a pretty special thing as well. What a bonus to have more tasty, nutritious options for Vegetables and Fruit in the winter.  + MORE

1 red bell pepper, chopped

1 stalk celery, chopped

Cashier line conversation  included a string of explanations: “I don’t normally buy this stuff” or “my husband just wanted these chips as a treat”. + MORE

I took part in the Abbotsford Family Fest last weekend - I was there announcing Healthy Families BC Communities, a grass roots community based program that will be kicking off across the province next year.

Luckily enough while at the festival I was able to fit in a game of street hockey.
