The summer after I graduated from high school, I spent five weeks with a host family in central France. It was an attempt by monolingual me to learn some French and my parents were generous enough to give me the opportunity before I started university that fall.

Master-Pizza

I always look forward to my niece and nephews coming over and having a chance to cook with them.

My niece and nephews, with the help of their Dad, often make short films and videos of their activities - everything from music videos to action figures and monsters battling to save the earth.

They also make things together in the kitchen. This got me thinking: why not combine the two and have them make a video of them cooking together? Then it all came together as I realised the Hands On Cook-Off Contest is on again (It runs until Sept 3rd).
